I don’t set New Year’s resolutions normally because I break them within the first few months. But with the dawn of a new decade, it’s left me reflecting on 2019 and what I’m most proud of professionally and personally.

2019 was a really exciting time for the company, we saw a growth in our sales and admin team welcoming Vicky, Bekah and Dan, but sadly said goodbye to one of our advisors, Alec.

We invested heavily in sponsorship again. We added to our sponsorship programme with Sherwood Pines Cycling Team and Boston United U15 Girls Football Team. Continuing with the sponsorship of Wollaton FC and local County & Agricultural Shows at Chatsworth, Newark, and Norfolk.

We attended the Annual BFBA Farrier Focus at Stoneleigh Park which was a fantastic event. We met existing, and new clients.

On a personal and professional note, one of the highlights of the company’s year has been proudly helping our clients claim over £100,000 in fracture claims and supporting Paige Glen in her income protection and critical illness claim.

What’s new for 2020?

Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m a keen mountain biker, so we’re looking to offer sponsorship to any up and coming mountain bike riders or established ones for that matter.

We’ve seen an increase in enquiries about Private medical insurance with people being concerned about the future of the NHS. So I expect that well get more clients requesting this service, as its becoming more affordable.

There are other exciting things on the horizon but we’ll let you know what those are, in the not too distant future.

Personally, I’m really gratified to work with some amazing people. They show their dedication and support every day and deliver excellent client service.

As the New Year begins, I’m reminded that it’s possible to be appreciative for the lessons learnt last year and be excited about the promise of the future.
